- Operate the school’s financial system and procedures following statutory guidelines, financial guidelines, school and Education Department policy and practice
- Assist with maintaining the school budgetary allocation and provide financial information as directed by the Head Teacher and other members of the Senior Management Team
- Process invoices promptly and provide related information to members of the School Management Team
- Monitor and manage school stock within an agreed budget, cataloguing resources and conducting audits as required
- Manage general financial administration tasks such as processing orders, requisitions, and invoices, collection, recording, reconciling and banking of monies
- Oversee the sale of goods within school and balance school monies while providing statistical information
- Maintain the Petty Cash Account and School Fund income
- Assist in managing the school’s lettings administration
- Provide an efficient reception and switchboard service while handling complex reception matters
- Act as the first point of contact for general enquiries from parents, carers, students, teaching staff, and colleagues from other agencies
- Operate and maintain relevant equipment and complex ICT software packages
- Oversee the collation and maintenance of pupil/school details, both manually and computerised
- Offer personal, administrative, and organisational support to other staff and the governing body
- Contribute to the management of school visits, extracurricular activities, and address pupil attendance issues
