- Write and Execute a Business Plan that will enable attainment of commercial goals and objectives.
- Strategically prospect and engage pharma/biopharma stakeholders to identify new business opportunities and advance to closure.
- Draft, negotiate, and close strategic, pricing, and supply agreements with key partners.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for sales-related needs. Maintain regular connectivity with the customer base to ensure their satisfaction.
- Proactively identify and engage pre- and post-sales support resources to complement the advancement and closure of business.
- Provide accurate sales forecasting to leadership and perform consistent opportunity management within CRM systems.
- Monitor industry and application trends, compile customer feedback, and partner with internal stakeholders to hone go to market strategies.
- 5+ years of direct sales and/or Business Development experience in pharma/biopharma markets.
- Demonstrated experience partnering with Cell and Gene Therapy, mRNA Vaccine, Contract Development Manufacturing, and Contract Research Organizations to support drug discovery and development
- Bachelor’s degree in a life science discipline (biology, molecular biology, immunology, biochemistry, genetics/genomics, genome engineering, etc..) required, a graduate degree in these disciplines is a plus.
- Exceptional organizational, time management, written and verbal communication skills.
- Preferred locations: Greater London, Cambridge, Oxford, or Manchester areas, United Kingdom.
- Strong knowledge of Office 365 tools, including PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, and Teams. Comfort and familiarity with Salesforce.com.
- Ability to travel up to 50%.
