- Take full ownership and accountability for all aspects of performance, safety, hygiene, and quality within the production department.
- Maintain and support all aspects of hygiene standards and ensure compliance with internal and external requirements.
- Supervise daily production activities to ensure output targets are met.
- Lead and motivate a team of production operatives across shifts.
- Monitor production processes and implement improvements to increase efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Maintain accurate records of production output, downtime, and quality issues.
- Coordinate with maintenance and quality teams to resolve any issues promptly.
- Train new staff and conduct performance evaluations.
- Proven production experience at a supervisory level within a busy consumer goods (FMCG) environment.
- Strong understanding of technical and operational standards within manufacturing.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and work effectively as part of a team.
- High awareness and commitment to health and safety standards.
- Working knowledge of HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
- Flexible and adaptable approach in a fast-paced production setting.
- 4 on 4 off (days and nights available)
- Only work less than half the year (182 days)
- Overtime readily available
- £36k to £40k Basic salary
- 6am - 6pm or 6pm - 6am
