Job Description:Robert Half Finance & Accounting are working in partnership with our client - an industry leading engineering business in their recruitment of a Finance Business Partner on a permanent basis.Due to continued growth and strategic investment, our client has created a Finance Business Partner role to join their commercial finance function and play a key role in driving business performance across global operations.This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially focused finance professional with experience in manufacturing or engineering environments-ideally (but not limited to) within aerospace, aviation, or defence. The role offers broad exposure, working closely with stakeholders across the business - think of it as a decision support role.The salary on offer is up to £75,000 + benefits, and due to the nature of the role & the required level of partnering, there is a strong preference for predominantly office based to get the best out of stakeholders.Responsibilities:
  • Provide proactive financial partnering across multiple functions
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning cycles
  • Deliver insight through commercial analysis and performance reporting
  • Partner with cost centre owners to ensure effective cost management and delivery of business objectives
  • Support data integrity and process enhancements within ERP systems (IFS exposure desirable)
  • Contribute to wider transformation and efficiency projects across finance and operations
About You:
  • Qualified or near qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA/CA)
  • Prior proven partnering experience
  • Well-developed understanding of cross functional environments
  • Strong analyst - and be able to convey high quality data into meaningful insight
  • Relevant industry experience - aviation, engineering, defence, manufacturing
