We deliver acute hospital, primary, community and mental health care services to a population of over 1.15 million and a wider population of 2.2 million when our regional and national services are included.There are 2x permanent posts available on a full-time basis. the shift pattern is Monday - Friday, Office Hours.The Directorate of Medical Education is seeking to recruit skilled administrators to join the team. The posts will be based at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, but will work on all sites as required by the nature of this NHSGGC role.A key element of these posts is the organisation and delivery of undergraduate medical education within NHSGGC; but you will provide administrative support to a wide range of work streams within both undergraduate and postgraduate medical education.You will utilise administrative systems (paper based and electronic) to support implementation, monitoring and maintenance of high standards of educational practice. You will be educated to HNC level or equivalent or will have relevant equivalent experience; and will have excellent communication, organisational and time management skills.The successful applicant will have previous NHS experience, in a post requiring a high level of responsiveness and customer care and ideally will have experience in medical education or a similar environment. They will have good experience in supporting delivery of teaching/training where virtual methods are the primary route. This is a pan GGC role and the postholders will be required to provide support on multiple sites.
