You will work closely with Project managers, Delivery Managers, engineers, delivery partners and operational leads to maintain smooth operational workflows and forecasts, working towards our collective goal of delivering a great service and supporting the UK reach Net Zero TargetsWhat you’ll be doingYou will ensure accurate and timely financial administration to support effective budget management, procurement, and forecasting across the Telecoms department, enabling compliance with internal controls and regulatory obligations.You will provide consistent and reliable administrative support to project and delivery teams, ensuring that documentation, reporting, and coordination activities contribute to the successful execution of programme milestones.You will maintain robust departmental records and communication processes to support operational efficiency, knowledge sharing, and informed decision-making across the team.What you’ll bringFinancial Administration: Demonstrable experience in supporting financial processes within a project environment, including raising purchase orders, GRN-ing, delegated purchasing, and maintaining financial forecasts. Must have a sound understanding of procurement systems and financial governance, ideally within regulated industries.Systems Proficiency: Competent in using procurement systems such as SAP, or equivalent. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel for financial tracking and reporting.Administrative Accuracy and Organisation: High attention to detail and experience maintaining departmental and finance records, managing shared inboxes, and supporting governance processes.Communication and Collaboration: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams and engage with internal and external stakeholders. Experience supporting team coordination and contributing to onboarding processes. Having a real “Can do” approach to challenges.Qualifications and Training: Formal training or qualifications in business administration, finance, or a related discipline are advantageous. On-the-job experience in a similar setting is essential.
