- Provide leadership and direction for the maintenance organisation to meet operational and business objectives.
- Serve as the CAA Nominated Postholder for Part-145, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Oversee the prioritisation and allocation of line maintenance resources in collaboration with Maintrol.
- Manage the Line Maintenance team, including training, performance management, and engagement.
- Address compliance and safety occurrence reports by establishing root cause and implementing corrective actions.
- Drive continuous improvement of departmental processes, communication, and procedures.
- Ensure the team meets operational performance targets, including Technical Dispatch Reliability (TDR) and ADD levels.
- Develop and manage departmental budgets to ensure cost-effective service provision.
- Maintain adequate resource levels to meet high operational standards.
- Uphold strong relationships with London City Airport regarding engineering matters.
- Support ad hoc projects and wider Engineering initiatives as required.
