We are seeking a Senior Building Surveyor to join a well-established, multi-disciplinary consultancy in London.This is a fantastic opportunity to take the lead on high-profile projects, work across diverse sectors, and play a key role in mentoring junior surveyors while progressing your own career. The Role: Senior Building SurveyorAs a Senior Building Surveyor, you will be responsible for delivering a broad range of building surveying services, leading projects, and managing client relationships across government, commercial, and residential sectors. You will also support business development initiatives and contribute to the continued growth of the consultancy. Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a variety of building surveying projects from inception to completion.
  • Prepare detailed designs, drawings, specifications, and reports.
  • Conduct site inspections, surveys, and due diligence assessments.
  • Provide expert technical advice to clients and stakeholders.
  • Manage client relationships and contribute to business development efforts.
  • Mentor and support junior surveyors, assisting with APC progression.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
About You:
  • Degree in Building Surveying or a related discipline.
  • MRICS Chartered.
  • Proven experience in delivering building surveying services, including project management and contract administration.
  • Strong technical knowledge and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent client-facing and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
