With offices in London, the West Midlands, the Northwest, and Brighton, they advise a prestigious client base covering commercial, industrial, retail, residential, and leisure sectors.Their services include dilapidations, technical due diligence, contract administration, building safety and compliance (including Principal Designer roles), party wall matters, reinstatement cost assessments, expert witness advice, and the use of innovative technology such as Matterport 3D scanning. As a Senior Chartered Building Surveyor, you’ll take on a lead role within the Building Consultancy team, delivering complex instructions, managing client relationships, and mentoring junior surveyors.Responsibilities include:Leading on contract administration projects, from feasibility studies and specifications through to tendering, inspections, and handover.Undertaking and overseeing technical due diligence surveys across multiple sectors, coordinating specialist consultants.Advising on building safety and compliance, including acting as Principal Designer under the Building Safety Act 2022.Managing dilapidations and party wall instructions, negotiating on behalf of clients.Using digital tools and 3D scanning technology to enhance reporting and delivery.About YouMRICS (or equivalent) with at least 5 years’ post-chartership experience.Strong technical expertise across contract administration, surveys, dilapidations, and compliance.Knowledge of the Building Safety Act 2022 and Principal Designer responsibilities.Experience managing client relationships and mentoring junior colleagues.Based in London (or surrounding areas) with flexibility to travel.What’s on Offer£65,000 – £70,000 basic salary (dependent on experience).
