- An established specialist Insurance Broker who are part of a larger national Business Services group are currently looking to add an experienced Commercial Account Handler to their renewals team.
- You’ll ensure the continuous protection of client's business assets and liabilities through reviewing current coverage, assessing any changes in risk profile, and negotiating with insurers to ensure the best terms are achieved.
- They operate across a range of sectors including retail, hospitality, care, leisure, and healthcare. They seek a motivated professional with extensive commercial insurance experience to support the needs of a diverse and interesting group of Commercial clients.
- Research and communicate up to date policy renewal information ensuring all clients receive the most appropriate advice and service relating to their insurance needs.
- Advise clients on the policy cover, terms and conditions, working with the claims team to ensure that the client understands the effect of breach of onerous conditions or requirements.
- Respond promptly to client queries and ensure that all communications with customers and/or insurers, or other relevant business contacts are accurately recorded in writing.
- Identify and respond to all up-sell and cross-sell opportunities.
- Develop and maintain strong, lasting relationships with clients, insurers and internal stakeholders
- Assess and identify any areas of uninsured risks.
- Ensure cover arranged meets the client’s demands and needs
- Extensive previous commercial insurance experience.
- An in depth understanding of the fundamentals of Insurance and its legal context and operation of the Insurance marketplace.
- A proven track record of maintaining very high retention rates.
- An understanding of current and upcoming commercial insurance coverage.
- Highly professional with an engaging and friendly manner, ensuring a client-led approach.
- Strong relationship building, influencing and team building skills.
- Previous Acturis experience.
- Cert CII qualified.
- Salary to £46,000
