We are seeking an Account Handler to join our clients Commercial team in Manchester. As an Account Handler, you will be responsible for providing quality service to clients, advising on insurance arrangements, and securing appropriate cover for their needs. Maintain relationships with insurers on a day-to-day basis
Process mid-term adjustments and administration
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Stay updated on developments in the insurance market
Liaise with the accounts department as needed
Handle new business broking and invoicing
Manage renewal business including updating records, obtaining terms from insurers, and invoicing
Administer premium finance and risk register production
Check policy wordings for suitability and client needs
Desirable Skills
Good working knowledge of the Acturis system
Previous experience in the insurance industry, particularly in Commercial Client Servicing
Familiarity with online broking systems and general commercial lines business
Willingness to pursue professional qualifications
