- Assessing new applications to join the housing register, applying the Council's Allocations Policy and making judgements on an applicant's banding on the housing register
- Considering medical and welfare cases and assessing if criteria is met in relation to the policy
- Allocating social housing according to the relevant policies
- Confidence, enthusiasm and a flexible approach;
- Excellent administration skills, numeracy skills, accuracy and attention to detail;
- Good keyboard skills and the proven ability to learn and utilise new software;
- Good customer care skills;
- The ability to discuss sensitive issues with our customers calmly
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
