- Educated to NVQ Level 3 standard or equivalent level of knowledge and experience.
- Level 2 Food Safety Certificate.

- Ability to undertake all mandatory training as required by the individual site.
- Ability to undertake any necessary skills and competency training required by the post.
- Level 2 Health & Safety Certificate.
- Level 3 Food Safety Certificate.
- I. L.M level 3 or N.E.B.S.S Certificate or equivalent qualification.
- Experience of working in a healthcare setting.
- Previous experience of working to Health and Safety legislation.
- Experience in undertaking audits.
- Experience using Microsoft packages.
- Understanding of Infection Control.
- Knowledge of Health & Safety including COSHH/risk assessments/manual handling activities.
- Knowledge of stock control procedures.
- Knowledge of relevant NHS procedures and practices, including legal requirements.
- Comply to Personal Appearance Standards and Personal Protective Equipment (Staff Uniform).
- A full, current UK driving licence and access to a vehicle fit and insured for business use are required for this post. Reasonable adjustments will be made for disabled staff in line with the Equality Act 2010.
- To attend training on other sites within the Nottinghamshire NHS Trust.
- Experienced driver, able to drive Trust vehicle.
