We’re seeking an experienced Injection Moulding Setter to join a well-established manufacturing business. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on professional who is confident in carrying out efficient tool changes, optimising machine performance and driving improvements in cycle times and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE). You’ll be part of a highly skilled production team where your expertise will directly contribute to consistent quality output and operational success.This permanent position is based in Peterborough and offers long-term stability with a respected organisation that prides itself on its commitment to continuous improvement, training, and development. You’ll be supported by experienced colleagues and management while also having the opportunity to make a real impact within a modern and busy production environment.Main Responsibilities:
  • Daily running of moulding machines in line with capacity plans
  • Monitoring machine utilisation and updating status
  • Carrying out tool changes efficiently to maximise production uptime
  • Promoting SMED principles and identifying areas for cycle time improvements
  • Working closely with Quality and Production teams to resolve issues
  • Recording process data, improvements, and best practices
  • Supporting 5S and maintaining a clean, safe working environment
  • Participating in problem-solving activities and continuous improvement initiatives
Skills/Experience:
  • Previous experience as an Injection Moulding Setter (essential)
  • Strong understanding of machine optimisation and cycle efficiency improvements
  • Ability to carry out tool changes quickly and effectively
  • Familiarity with process controls and quality standards
  • Good communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across shifts
  • Knowledge of health & safety requirements in a manufacturing environment
Salary & Working Hours:
40 hours per week across a rotating shift pattern:
  • Monday to Friday, 07:00–15:00 / 15:00–23:00 / 23:00–07:00
  • Two-week rotation with a 30-minute paid break each shift
