Interim Financial AccountantI am thrilled to be partnering with a not-for-profit organisation who are looking for a Financial Accountant on a 15-month contract. Working closely with the Finance Director, this role is a pivotal position, overseeing all Financial Accounting activities and supporting the wider team.Job Duties:- Prepare and analyse financial reports, statements, and records- Perform VAT returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations- Prepare statutory accounts and management accounts- Conduct financial consolidations for multiple entities- Handle payroll functions and maintain accurate records- Manage and report on both restrictive and non-restrictive fundingRequirements:- CIMA/ ACCA Part Qualified, or hold a Qualified Accountancy certification- Able to work and commit to a 15-month contract with the availability to start the assignment mid-September 2025- Possess a strong understanding of VAT regulations and tax laws- Proficiency in financial reporting and analysis- Experience with financial consolidations and understanding of payroll processing- Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsWhat is on offer?- Hybrid working model with a mix of office and remote work- 36 hours per week with flexible working hours- Free car parking available- 25 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays- 15-month assignment with potential for extension
