As the UK government is looking to promote and fund energy efficiency measures across the UK, in line with its own energy efficiency targets, thus presenting a massive opportunity for SIG to capture a slice of this market.
To do so, we need to enhance our offering by increasing our range of systems available. The current team are unable to support this effort and need this additional resource to join and support this initiative.
The new candidate would be coached and mentored to become comfortable within this very unique sector of the market. While supporting the current Retrofit team, the successful applicant would be exposed to the market in general and the customers we deal with.What you'll be doing:
- Business development - managing existing customers and targeting new businesses.
- Keeping customer database up to date.
- Support with appropriate promotional activity.
- Support TSMs/Branches with product/industry specialism.
- Assist in developing and maintaining the pricing strategy and keep margin calculators accurate.
- Provide quotations on Retrofit system products.
- Pursue account managers for enquiry/quotation updates.
- Oversee weekly sales repotting and monitor sales patterns.
- Attend industry functions for networking and keep close to the market place.
- Proficient level of numeracy and IT skills.
- Sales experience (desirable but not essential)
- Ability to work to time scales
- Ability to work alone and as part of a small team
- Full clean driving license.
