Working as one team, we learn and grow together, celebrating the big and small moments that make every day amazing.To support with the co-ordination of Learning activities, including managing bookings, invitations, attendance and reporting.Focus on the transition from onboarding to induction (candidate to colleague), enabling Currys retail colleagues to attend their Induction course, either Virtually or at The Academy: Fort Dunlop Campus, on day one of their employment.Working Mon-Fri at the following hours:
  • Mon – Thurs 8.30 – 5.30 (Fort Dunlop)
  • Fri 9 – 12 (Remote)
Role overview:As part of this role, you'll be responsible for:
  • Management of colleague invites, joining instructions and attendance reporting for Learning courses, both face to face and Virtual courses
  • Work closely with HRSS team to provide details of courses, dates and course capacity
  • To provide administrative support to the Learning courses, including preparation of all learning material, trainer tools and Learner documentation
  • Responsible for raising and authorising all Induction related Purchase Orders via our internal system
  • Responsible for the daily operational upkeep of the Academy environment including reporting and arranging any necessary maintenance work, completing weekly and monthly H&S and Fire Regulatory checks and ensuring that communal areas are clean and tidy at all times
  • Management of meeting requests for Fort Dunlop including:
  • Allocation of meeting room
  • Visitors’ information
  • Visitors’ parking
  • Completion of Ad Hoc tasks and duties at the request of the Academy Manager
You will need:
  • Maintains exceptionally high personal & professional standards
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Skilled user of Microsoft Excel including VLOOKUP, Pivot tables and other formulas
  • Excellent organisational skills with great attention to detail
  • Experience of managing room bookings for a company workspace
  • Excellent time management skills
