
Tutors (Young People at risk of PEX)

- Deliver Maths and English sessions tailored to individual needs
- Support learners in developing positive relationships and de-escalation strategies
- Help build confidence, routine, and a love for learning
- Work in homes, community settings, or alternative provision spaces
- Tutors, teachers, mentors, TAs, Cover Supervisors, or youth workers with experience supporting young people
- Strong communication and behaviour management skills
- A calm, consistent, and encouraging approach
- Ability to work independently and adapt to different learning styles

Full time/part-time – Opportunities for both
Hours – 12 Hours per week- for the right candidate, this can be increased to full time with additional tuition opportunitiesEssential & Desirable Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working within UK schools- ESSENTIAL
- Hold right to work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide references upon request
- Possess up to date Safeguarding Training (or a willingness to undertake this)
