This pivotal role will support our Primary, Community and Comple and Long-Term Care Division in delivering outstanding, high-quality care in line with the Place-Based Care model.With a portfolio that includes professional leadership of our Complex and Long-Term Care Team and driving key strategic priorities, including delivery of the Six Goals for Urgent Care, you will play a critical role in shaping services that meet the needs of our communities now and in the future.Main duties of the jobSupporting the Divisional Nurse/Associate Director of Nursing, Primary Care, Community Services and Complex and Long-Term Care and Heads of Service the post holder will be responsible for taking the lead on agreed nursing development programmes, recruitment and retention, measuring and improving standards of care and the patient experience, in accordance with agreed objectives, targets, quality standards, controls and resource constraints. The postholder is pivotal to ensuring safe, timely and compassionate care to patients and service users across and beyond designated areas.The post holder is a senior nursing professional within the Aneurin Bevan University Health Board (ABUHB), providing a professional and lead role within Primary Care, Community Services and Complex and Long-Term Care Division. As a senior member of the Nursing Division, supporting the Divisional Nurse/Associate Director of Nursing, Primary Care, Community Services and Complex and Long-Term Care the post holder will have designated responsibility for the provision of clinical and professional nursing assurance and expertise on all issues related to nursing and patient care and experience within designated areas across the Division.The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.About usAneurin Bevan University Health Board is a multi-award-winning NHS organisation with a passion for caring.
