By offering timely care, you’ll help patients access treatment quickly and often avoid the need for GP referral.Key responsibilities include:
- Running triage, telephone, and face-to-face consultations
- Assessing, diagnosing, and managing both acute and chronic conditions
- Acting as an independent prescriber, ensuring safe and effective prescribing
- Ordering and interpreting diagnostic investigations such as bloods and cultures
- Supporting patients with health education, long-term condition management, and preventative care
- Delivering vaccinations, health screening, and self-care advice
- Working collaboratively with colleagues across the healthcare team
- NMC-registered nurse with Advanced Clinical Practice and/or Non-Medical Prescriber qualification
- Minimum of 1 year’s experience in a Primary Care setting
- Skilled in managing patients of all ages, including children (desirable)
