You’ll be part of a diverse and collaborative team that includes Nurse Practitioners, Community Paramedics, Nursing Associates, Clinical Pharmacists, and Social Prescribers, working together to deliver high-quality, patient-centred care.Professional development is actively encouraged, with opportunities to build on your skills while working in an environment where asking questions and sharing knowledge is part of everyday practice.The roleAs an Advanced Nurse Practitioner, you will use your advanced clinical expertise to assess, diagnose, treat, and manage a wide range of health conditions. By offering timely care, you’ll help patients access treatment quickly and often avoid the need for GP referral.Key responsibilities include:
  • Running triage, telephone, and face-to-face consultations
  • Assessing, diagnosing, and managing both acute and chronic conditions
  • Acting as an independent prescriber, ensuring safe and effective prescribing
  • Ordering and interpreting diagnostic investigations such as bloods and cultures
  • Supporting patients with health education, long-term condition management, and preventative care
  • Delivering vaccinations, health screening, and self-care advice
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues across the healthcare team
What we’re looking for
  • NMC-registered nurse with Advanced Clinical Practice and/or Non-Medical Prescriber qualification
  • Minimum of 1 year’s experience in a Primary Care setting
  • Skilled in managing patients of all ages, including children (desirable)
  • Strong communicator with a compassionate approach to patient care
