- MB BS or Equivalent
- Full GMC Registration
- MRCPCH or Equivalent
- APLS
- Membership of relevant Specialist Societies or Associations
- Higher degree eg MSc, MD or equivalent
- Clear, fluent application Clear, fluent written presentation. Clear, fluent verbal presentation
- To demonstrate empathy and sensitivity, with the capacity to understand and appreciate others' perspectives, and to treat everyone with compassion and respect.
- Demonstrable track record of successful change management
- Must be able to demonstrate behaviours consistent with the Trust's Values and Behaviours
- Previous experience in Paediatric Respiratory Medicine
- Training/qualification in teaching
- Fully trained in Paediatric Respiratory Medicine
- Appropriate knowledge base and ability to apply sound clinical judgment to problems; demonstrates clear, logical thinking/analytical approach; understands evidence based practice
- IT Skills, ability to use web browser, excel, word
- Evidence of experience in management of children with CF and PCD
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team & supervise juniors
- Understanding of wider health agenda and modern NHS
- Knowledge and understanding of clinical governance issues
- Evidence of management and administration experience
- Management training on an accredited course
