You will work on properties across the region in both new and old stock, ideally with skills in some of the following disciplines:- plastering, tiling and painting. The role will occasionally involve lone working with opportunities to work with the wider team as and when required. With a company van and tools included the role will cover sites across the London area.The role of Trade Operative will include:
  • Carrying out all types of joinery repairs from replacing a door to lifting and replacing floors, fitting kitchen units and fitting doors and windows
  • Ensuring tools and equipment are maintained in good condition and restocking these when needed
  • Responding positively to complaints and breakdowns in service delivery, by resolving problems or set into motion the means of resolution, ensuring customers are kept informed
  • Providing accurate and timely information on the progress of works that is easily understood by the customer
Skills and experiences:
  • To ensure full compliance with Building Safety legislation, candidates applying for this role must be qualified to or undertaking NVQ Level 2 in a core subject, Plumbing
  • Working knowledge of the application of Health and Safety legislation
  • Good communication and customer care skills
  • Working to deadlines and prioritising work loads
  • This role will involve driving on company business. In order to drive a company vehicle, drivers must hold a full valid UK driving licence

  • Role salary is £36,353 with an additional policy allowance of £1,032 per annum (rising to £38,267 with an additional policy allowance of £1,086 per annum after 12 months, subject to satisfactory performance)
