An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 3 - ED Administration Coordinator to work within the Emergency Department (ED) & Urgent Treatment Centres (UTC).We are seeking a motivated, committed, dynamic and forward-thinking individual who will join our respectable administrative team within the Emergency Department.The post holder will need to have effective communication skills, ability to work under pressure, good team player and excellent customer service skills. In order to support the smooth running of the department.This role will require the post holder to work shift patterns to ensure the department is covered 24/7, including weekends, nights and bank holidays. You may be required to work cross site between Northwick Park, Ealing and Central Middlesex Hospitals, however you will be predominately based at Northwick Park.The post holder will adhere to Trust policy with regards to the sensitive information that patients are providing and all aspects of the Data Protection Act 1998.Applicants that have applied in the last 6 months need not apply.Main duties of the jobThe post holder will be responsible for for providing comprehensive administrative support and will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors attending the Emergency Department and Urgent Treatment Centre and is expected to demonstrate a high level of professionalism, care, courtesy and respect when greeting patients.Key Relationships:The post holder will work as part of the Emergency Department and Urgent Treatment Centre administration team and will work closely with the following post holders:
