- Good grounding in Respiratory Medicine
- Respiratory Specialist Exam (SCE)
- Current ALS certificate or equivalent (SS1)
- Audit & teaching experience relative to career stage
- Equivalent to completion of Internal Medicine Training Stage 1
- Experience in Respiratory Medicine
- Must have an interest in teaching all grades of medical staff & other allied health professionals
- Teaching qualification / accreditation
- Must be able to relate to patients & colleagues and to be flexible in approach to rotas, etc
- Ability to travel between hospitals
- Basic IT skills
- Progress towards achievement of the European Computer Driving License
- Applicants who's primary professional qualification(s) were not taken in English & who have spent less than 6 months in a substantive NHS post, will need to provide evidence to demonstrate their language competence by showing that they have achieved a score in a recognised language test which is acceptable to the Trust such as the International English Language Testing system (IELTS) or equivalent
