Salary:The full-time salary for this role is £33,014 per annum. This is a full-time 12-months fixed term role of 35 hours per week.

Make a real impact in Higher Education.Advance HE is looking for a Business Sales and Support Partner to support a consistent approach to delivering income generation including selling to clients, customer service and costing and pricing all income generating categories of Advance HE's membership, products and services in a commercially proficient way.Reporting to the Business Sales and Support Manager, the Partner will work collaboratively as a team of Partners to identify leads and take them forward in the established sales system and process. The Partner will sell and support sales to customers and members across all income categories and triage customer queries to appropriate teams within Advance HE.We are looking for someone who is interested in collaborating and building constructive relationships across Advance HE to provide excellent customer service to Advance HE customers and membersIn addition to this, you will be responsible for:Delivering Accurate Costing and Pricing Services
  • Responsible for delivering the day-to-day use of costing and pricing tools with commercial awareness and adhering to all service level agreements and procedures related to the functions of business sales and support.
  • Collaboratively working across Advance HE in a proactive way to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of delivery of costing and pricing.
Delivering Customer Support and Sales of Membership, Products and Services
  • Support all customers and member queries into Advance HE, aligning to operational engagement and sales plans and triaging customer queries to appropriate teams within the organisation.
  • Identifying leads and taking them forward in the established sales system and process.
  • Identifying engagement and taking it forward with the appropriate account managers and/or teams.
  • Selling and supporting sales to customers and members across all income categories whilst prioritising their needs in the process.
  • Truly collaborate and build constructive relationships across other teams to provide excellent service and maintain organisational standards in process and time management.
  • Process orders in a timely and efficient manner, working across teams and directly with customers to meet their needs and create an excellent experience.
  • Support the reporting on all income and orders, recognising that accurate data management supports high quality reporting and informed decision making.
  • Continuously improve knowledge about Advance HE's global membership, the member offer, and its products and services in order to better understand and engage in support and sales with customers.
Delivering Business Development Engagement and Research
  • Supporting the operational engagement and sales plans through proactive engagement and qualitative research, primarily through targeted conversations with stakeholders and potential clients globally.
In order to be successful in this role you must have / be:
  • Demonstrated experience in meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Experience of delivering as part of a cross-functional team, securing high quality outcomes through collaborative working
  • Experience in successfully selling to and influencing clients
  • Proven experience of delivering within a sales and engagement plan that produces a pipeline of leads and opportunities that is aligned to strategic plans
  • Experience in the effective use of costing and pricing tools for income generating work
  • Experience in delivering customer service and sales to a high standard
  • Knowledge and curiosity of the higher education sector in its different forms and contexts within the UK and globally
