
Team Lead - Account Management (6 months FTC)

- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of AMs and SAMs to consistently meet and exceed Net Revenue Retention (NRR) and growth targets.
- Provide regular coaching, training, shadowing, and call reviews to improve team performance.
- Analyse and optimise sales and retention strategies, pipelines, and account management practices.
- Collaborate with the Manager, Revenue Operations, and internal stakeholders (Partnerships, Marketing, Implementation, Outbound Sales) to execute commercial playbooks and deliver strategic initiatives (e.g. product adoption, price increases, upsell/cross-sell campaigns).
- Work closely with global Account Management leaders to share best practices and align on strategies.
- Act as cover for the Manager of Account Management whenever they are on leave, covering as many of the manager duties as possible.
- Support in analysing and reporting on team and account performance metrics.
- Develop customer engagement initiatives to maximise both team and client outcomes.
- Contribute to wider company objectives-even outside your direct scope-supporting Lightspeed's mission to power merchants globally.
- The team meets or exceeds NRR, retention, and account growth targets.
- Regular, impactful coaching and development activities keep team engagement high.
- Positive feedback from customers, peers, and leadership.
- Proven experience in Account Management, Customer Success, or Sales in a B2B SaaS, fintech, or tech-driven environment.
- Strong track record managing high-value accounts and achieving retention and revenue growth targets.
- Demonstrated team leadership or coaching experience with a passion for helping others grow.
- Strong understanding of relationship management, upsell/cross-sell, and expansion best practices.
- Analytical mindset and comfort with data-driven decision making.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, results-driven, customer-centric environment.
- Entrepreneurial and agile mindset, with the ability to pivot quickly as business needs evolve.
- Experience in hospitality, retail, or eCommerce.
- Familiarity with POS systems, SaaS solutions, or eCommerce platforms.
