SALARY: £12.60 - £13.30 per hour / £25,552 - £26,972 per annum + £3000 - £6000 sleep in allowancePlus - £62.64 per sleep-in (working approx. 4-8 sleep ins per month, an additional £3,000-£6,000pa)Shift patterns - Full time working long days plus extra sleep in (approx. 4-6 sleep ins per month)Full UK Driving licence is essential.As well as competitive pay and in-house professional support we provide and fully fund the necessary training to achieve valuable externally accredited qualifications.Join us as a Support Worker at our home in Whitchurch and you will receive:

  • Be part of a caring team that provides a safe and loving home for children and young people, led and supported by a registered manager.
  • Provide the therapeutic care and support needed for each individual child.
  • Act as a positive role model to meet their everyday living needs,
  • Enjoy fun days out such as bowling and activities
  • Carry out household tasks such as cooking and cleaning
  • Provide emotional and physical support to allow the children to reach their full potential in sometimes challenging situations
  • Build friendships and trusting relationships
  • Help them to find pleasure in everyday tasks

What do you need?
  • We want people who are naturally caring, flexible and resilient.

  • Able to share interests with our young people.
  • You need to be able to work flexibly in caring for the children. This will include working shifts and sleep-ins with full-time and part-time hours being available.
