Prospero Teaching is looking for a committed KS1 Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant and supportive primary school in Rochdale. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young children and is confident supporting early years learning and development.Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide classroom support under the guidance of the class teacherLead literacy and numeracy interventions with small groups or whole classDeliver cover supervision during teacher absencesPromote positive behaviour and maintain a safe, engaging learning environmentMonitor pupil progress and communicate effectively with staff and parentsEnsure the safeguarding and welfare of all pupilsRequirements:
Minimum of 12 weeks experience in a UK school (KS1 experience preferred)Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)Strong knowledge of the KS1 frameworkUp-to-date safeguarding training (can be provided)Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)Able to provide two recent references from UK educational settingsWhat We Offer:
