- Lead, supervise, and support a team to deliver consistent, high-quality SEND assessment and review services in line with legislation and best practice
- Oversee Education, Health and Care (EHC) needs assessments, ensuring robust, timely decision-making and compliance with statutory deadlines
- Drive service performance through effective planning, quality assurance, and data-informed decision-making
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to support successful transitions across educational stages
- Promote inclusive education by reducing reliance on out-of-authority placements and supporting local provision development
- Local Government experience required for initial shortlisting, then thereafter at the client’s discretion
- Extensive experience in SEND, including applying legal frameworks, managing complex casework, and contributing to strategic service development
- Proven ability to supervise and develop staff, with experience in performance management and coaching
- Strong understanding of relevant SEND legislation and policy, including EHCP processes, exclusions, and admissions
- Experience in managing services or teams within education, social care, health, or public administration
