Adults Safeguarding Social Worker
Safeguarding | Risk Management | Multi-Agency WorkingCity of Doncaster Council is seeking an experienced Adults Safeguarding Social Worker to join their busy Adults Safeguarding Team. This service provides vital support and intervention to safeguard adults at risk, ensuring they are protected from harm while promoting independence and wellbeing.Role Overview:
You will:
- Undertake safeguarding enquiries under Section 42 Care Act 2014
- Assess and manage risk, ensuring proportionate and person-centred outcomes
- Work with adults, carers and families to develop support plans that protect and empower
- Engage in multi-agency working to ensure joined-up safeguarding responses
- Prepare and present clear reports for safeguarding meetings and decision-making forums
- Maintain accurate, timely case records in line with statutory guidance and council policy
- Contribute to service development and safeguarding best practice
- Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England
- Experience of safeguarding work in adults’ services
- Strong assessment, risk management and report-writing skills
- Knowledge of the Care Act 2014 and other relevant legislation
- Ability to work effectively with partners across health, housing, and the police
- Locum role
- Pay up to £32 per hour
- Based in Doncaster
