Salary Package: Up to £40,000 per annum

Role OverviewAs Deputy Manager, you will support the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of the home, helping to lead a team of care professionals and ensuring a safe, supportive, and therapeutic environment for children and young people.Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and supervise care staff across shifts
  • Support with planning, compliance, and staff development
  • Maintain high standards of care and safeguarding
  • Act as a role model and promote positive relationships with young people
  • Contribute to the home’s stability and therapeutic approach
Experience:
  • Minimum 2 years’ recent experience in a children’s residential care setting
  • At least 1 year in a supervisory or senior role
Qualifications:
  • Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) – essential
  • Level 4 Diploma in Children, Young People & Families – desirable (or willingness to work towards)
Additional Requirements:
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Access to a vehicle for commuting
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
