As the Commercial Manager, you’ll lead our
balance growth initiatives
such as Balance Transfers, Money Transfers and
Instalment Plans. This role is key
to driving balance growth, optimising profitability and enhancing customer value across these key journeys.You’ll own the end-to-end campaigns working cross-functionally with internal teams (Analytics, Tech, CRM, System Delivery, Operations) to deliver optimisations that are competitive, compliant
and customer-centric in a fast-paced
environment.This is a strategic, data-driven role focused on shaping and optimising key balance growth customer journeys. You will analyse customer behaviour and cohort performance to inform campaign
design, improve lifecycle strategies
and enhance the overall customer experience. As the voice of the customer, you’ll ensure every touchpoint across these programmes is seamless, personalised, and performance-oriented.Key responsibilities:
- Strategy: Define and execute the balance growth roadmap across key in-life programmes (Balance Transfers, Money Transfers and
- Performance optimisation: Own key KPIs and performance metrics for all balance growth programmes. Provide regular reporting, insight, and recommendations to enhance commercial outcomes and customer engagement.
- Cross functional collaboration: Lead and influence cross-team initiatives by partnering with Acquisition Marketing, Partnerships, Product, Data Ops, Analytics, Tech, Operations, and Legal to ensure cohesive delivery and compliance.
- Data and Experimentation: Champion the data agenda through the lens of the customer
- Drive innovation through a test-and-learn mindset: Drive innovation by leading the optimisation of automated lifecycle journeys with the CRM team. Embed a test-and-learn mindset within the team to continuously enhance engagement and commercial impact.
- Demonstrated experience managing core lifecycle campaigns
- Proven commercial project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment
- Desire to not just meet targets, but exceed them
- Analytical mindset with experience using data to optimise customer journeys, programme performance, and reporting
- Driven by a passion for customer-first marketing that aligns with strong commercial outcomes
- Legal and commercial awareness of key programmes
- Excellent communication skills - strong storytelling, writing, and presentation capabilities
- The successful candidate must have the right to work in the UK and meet the following criteria:
