Known for their strong presence in the premium on-trade and independent retail space, they’re now looking to appoint a Senior Business Development Manager to help drive the next phase of growth.The OpportunityThis is a strategic and hands-on role, focused on developing new business and strengthening key partnerships across London’s high-end on-trade, specialist retail, and hospitality sectors. You’ll work closely with the leadership, buying, and marketing teams to shape commercial strategy and ensure long-term client success.Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and secure new commercial opportunities across the premium London trade.
  • Build and manage strong, long-term relationships with buyers, sommeliers, and key stakeholders.
  • Represent the business at tastings, portfolio events, and industry trade shows.
  • Collaborate internally to align sales efforts with product strategy and brand messaging.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform sales planning and performance.
Candidate Profile
  • Proven success in wine sales, business development or account management.
  • Strong existing network across the London on-trade or independent retail scene.
  • WSET Level 3 (or equivalent experience) with a clear passion for premium wines.
  • Commercially astute, with strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Self-motivated, entrepreneurial mindset with the confidence to work autonomously.
