- Be the first point of contact at refuge and respond to any issues or emergencies.
- Ensure customers feel welcome when they first move in and they are fully aware of the support they can access as well as their responsibilities within the accommodation,
- Provide customer-focused practical and emotional support.
- Support the referral process, carry out any necessary risk assessments and assign accommodation based on customer needs.
- Maintain customer focused safety plans and risk management plans to keep the customer and their family safe, all while keeping accurate records.
- Assess any risk or safeguarding issues and respond appropriately, making sure that incidents are recorded appropriately.
- Support the team to meet void targets by turning rooms around ready for new customers to move in.
- A good standard of education, for example GCSE English and Maths or equivalent.
- Good ICT skills and familiar with Microsoft office.
- Experience of handling personal data, working in line with GDPR.
- A genuine understanding of people in abusive relationships. You’ll be their voice so you’ll need great communication skills to provide them with the best support to keep them safe.
- Great problem solving skills and the ability to think quickly on your feet.
- Able to work independently and remotely, being self-motivated with great time management. You’ll be able to meet deadlines and make and keep clear factual recordings of information.
