- Minimum of English Level 2 (GCSE grade C or equivalent), ILETS, or graduate of a UK Medical School

- Experience in Endocrinology, diabetes and general medicine
- Highly effective leadership skills Interpersonal and influencing skills
- Clinical leadership experience in Acute NHS Trust
- Extensive knowledge of clinical audit
- Research and Development and Evidence based practice
- Commitment to implementation and strengthening of clinical governance
- Complaint management
- RCA, Sis, SJR
- Thorough knowledge of the structure, functions, culture and values of the National Health Service and its inter relationship with other agencies
- Upholds and models the Trust values
- Insight into strengths and weaknesses
- Ability to make things happen and to deliver on the most challenging of issues
- Environmental and political awareness
- Candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to travel effectively between sites.
