School website:SummaryThe Headteacher and Governors of Farington Moss St Paul's CE Primary School are looking to appoint a Welfare Assistant to join our team to ensure the safety, welfare and good conduct of our pupils during the lunch break period. Hours of work will be 11.55am to 1.10pm Monday to Friday (Term Time only). We would love to hear from you if you are a positive, friendly and hardworking person who enjoys working with children.The successful candidate will:
  • Supervise pupils eating their dinners;
  • Prevent them from taking food outside the dining area;
  • Control the behaviour of pupils while they eat their meals;
  • Check that groups of pupils do not hang around places that they should not (such as toilets);
  • Control the behaviour of pupils in the playground;
  • Deal with accidents in the playground or dining area;
  • Keep young pupils occupied when they have to stay indoors.
This position is part time, term time only, please note the salary quoted is full time equivalent.
