An exciting opportunity has arisen to become part of the theatre scheduling team, leading the team in achieving scheduling excellence and providing managerial support.We are seeking an organised and approachable individual who can navigate a multitude of targets and support a team in the scheduling of paediatric theatre's. The post holder should be comfortable with working with different professionals in order to use our theatre capacity and pre-operative clinics to the best efficiency.Main duties of the jobThe details of the responsibilities of the role can be found in more detail within the job description, however to highlight the main duties:Providing managerial support to the scheduling teamEnsuring 6-4-2 process is followedEnsuring all theatre lists are scheduled as per Trust policyEnsuring the pre-operative clinics are booked effectivelyEnsuring the 48 hour checks are conducted.About usMFT is one of the largest NHS Trust In England with a turnover of over £3bn & is on a different scale than most other NHS Trusts.
