Product Category Manager /Retail BuyerElectronics/Hardware IndustryHybrid Role (2 days minimum office based) offices based in the Hertfordshire areaRemuneration - Basic Salary circa £58,000 plus Car Allowance of £450pm PLUS Bonus quarterly bonus of up to 20% of basic salary, plus many other benefitsWe are working with one of the world's leading established consumer electronics accessories and wireless technology manufacturers and due to continued expansion they have a role within their UK Category Team for a Product Category Manager/Retail Buyer within the Gaming and Audio Consumer electronics division.As a dynamic Product/Category Manager/ Retail Buyer , you will be the category owner and primary point of contact for internal teams, partners, and customers across EMEA ( Europe , Middle east & Africa) Regions.You will drive the commercial performance of your product portfolio, managing the entire product life cycle from concept and introduction through end-of-life road map. You will be a confident communicator and someone who can negotiate to a Global Level.You will collaborate closely with Sales, Global Product Management, and Marketing teams across regions to convert opportunities into revenue and deliver compelling, consumer-focused product propositions.The ideal candidate will have worked within the IT Hardware or the Electronics or a related industry previously, A software industry background is not an ideal industry background for this role.
  • Product Management background in a comparable commercial role within Consumer Electronics or IT (Hardware) is a strong plus.
  • Strong business acumen and commercial awareness with a track record of delivering category growth.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence stakeholders across regions.
  • Experience presenting to retail customers and internal senior leadership.
