Our Workplace team has an opportunity for a proactive and professional Workplace Manager at our London office.We have 50,000 sq ft of amazing office space themed to be a 'home away from home'. You'll be supporting the Head of Workplace to deliver a compelling employee experience and the very best physical working environment that facilitates flexible working whilst proactively ensuring that planning is done to anticipate the needs of the business.Our Workplace team is key to ensuring the success of our hybrid working model with the ambition of becoming the UK tech employer of choice.What you'll be doing:
- Ensuring a safe, efficient, and well-maintained environment for all our employees and visitors in our London office.
- Ensuring the London Workplace team provides an excellent service to internal and external customers at all times.
- Managing and supervising the work of cleaning, security, and maintenance contractors, ensuring work meets company standards and escalating any issues.
- Proactively identifying opportunities and driving continuous improvement to processes, ensuring the office is maintained and presented to a high standard at all times.
- Overseeing that our procedures are compliant with health and safety regulations, including regular risk assessments and fire safety drills, and ensuring the building adheres to UK legislation.
- Planning and managing local facilities-related projects, such as space planning and new equipment installations, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Contributing to the delivery of our ESG goals.
- Acting as the primary point of contact for staff regarding all facilities-related issues, responding promptly and effectively to service requests and concerns.
- Proven experience supporting a large-scale office environment of 300+ employees.
- NEBOSH certification
- Exceptional attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards.
- Strong organisational and planning skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- A self-motivated and proactive approach to facilities management.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams positively and effectively.
- In-depth knowledge and high level of awareness of health and safety regulations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A logical and creative thinker with a positive, solutions-oriented mindset for resolving problems.
- Experience supporting a technology-first environment
- Professional membership with IWFM or RICS.
