We are looking to recruit a Deputy Nurse Manager to join a small learning disability service in Sheffield. The service in Sheffield is a small, homely care home, supporting adults with severe learning disabilities, ensuring a personalised and responsive care experience.As the Deputy Nurse Manager, you will:
  • Support the Manager in delivering excellent operational care.
  • Lead the clinical team to ensure high-quality service.
  • Manage the service in the Manager's absence.
  • Provide clinical oversight and accountability.
  • Engage in safe recruitment and clinical governance.
  • Collaborate with MDT members and local authorities.
  • Share on-call responsibilities with the management team.

The ideal Deputy Nurse Manager will have:
  • A nursing qualification with an active NMC PIN - RNLD, RMN or RGN.
  • Experience working with learning disabilities - essential
  • At least three years of management experience, ideally within a complex care setting.
  • Outstanding communication skills.
  • A proactive, can-do attitude and leadership qualities.
