This role involves supporting aircraft installation and maintenance activities, ensuring safety, airworthiness, and compliance with engineering standards. You'll work closely with supervisors, engineers, and design teams to deliver high-quality avionic solutions.Key Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and maintain avionic systems and electrical looms
- Interpret wiring diagrams and design data accurately
- Perform off-aircraft workshop tasks and assist with hangar operations
- Support aircraft movements and general housekeeping
- Ensure health & safety compliance and use of PPE
- Collaborate with design office and contribute to continuous improvement
- Experience with helicopter systems and confined space work
- Skilled in soldering, crimping, and continuity testing
- Familiarity with specialist test equipment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexible, reliable, and detail-oriented
- Comfortable with shift patterns (allowance payable)
- IT skills (Google Workspace, SAP, MS Office - desirable)
- Formal aviation apprenticeship or equivalent
- Valid driving license
