
Avionic Fitter / Wireman

- Maintaining high standards to ensure the continued safe operation of the aircraft
- Manufacturing electrical looms and avionic systems in accordance with design data
- Conducting off-aircraft work in workshops as required
- Assisting in the day-to-day running of the hangar, including aircraft movements and general housekeepingThe successful Avionic Fitter / Wireman will have the following qualifications and experience:- Completed a formal aviation apprenticeship or related discipline
- Experience on Airbus Helicopters
- Initial Human Factors training
- Ability to accurately interpret detailed wiring diagrams and associated data
- Recent experience of manufacturing wiring looms, including terminating connectors and carrying out continuity testing
- Recent experience of on and off-aircraft soldering and crimping techniques
- Knowledge of the use of specialist test equipment related to electrical and avionic systems
- Ability to work as part of a team, as well as independently, to high standards
- Flexible and positive approach, with genuine enthusiasm for the role
- Reliable and able to remain calm under pressure
