
Highways Safety Inspector - M25

- Safety Compliance: Conduct thorough inspections of highways, roads, and related infrastructure to ensure compliance with safety regulations, standards, and policies.
- Risk Assessment: Identify potential safety hazards, assess risks, and recommend effective mitigation measures to prevent accidents and enhance overall safety.
- Quality Assurance: Evaluate maintenance activities to ensure they meet established safety standards and specifications, providing timely feedback to project teams.
- Data Analysis: Collect and analyse data related to road safety, contributing to the development of comprehensive safety strategies.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with various stakeholders including National Highways, CPS depot teams, and local communities to promote a culture of safety and implement best practices.
- Full driving licence B/B1.
- Previous experience of working in a highway maintenance contract.
- Knowledge and experience of highway & Motorway defects.
- Knowledge of highway construction and repair requirements.
- Experienced in the use of Microsoft Office applications.
- CSCS site visitor card.
- City & Guilds 6033 - Highway Inspection (preferable) or equivalent.
