A lovely family in York, with two boys age 8 and 10 are looking for an experienced SEN nanny. Your role will be to help care for their son age 8, whilst mum is spending time with their older son.
Your role will include all aspects of their sons care needs, including toileting, assisting in him getting dressed, helping him to eat his meals tidier, keeping him safe. Some general tidying and cleaning up after him is needed too.
The ideal nanny will be confident, energetic, kind, self-assured, friendly, with a firm but fair approach to discipline. The family are hoping for the nanny to stay with them long term and become part of their family.
Their son enjoys swimming, being outside playing on his swings in the garden and the trampoline and running and walks .He loves to use his gym ball for fun and drives in the car to regulate himself.
They family live in a comfortable detached home with a large garden, with easy access to York centre.
Location of the job: Haxby, York
Minimum experience Level for this job: 5 years childcare and SEN experience
Details of any qualifications needed for this job: Enhanced DBS and Full Paediatric first aid
Hours of work: 9am until 3pm
Days required: Monday to Friday in school holidays, Saturday and Sunday During Term Time
Pets in the home: Yes one therapy dog
Driving required: Yes, and be able to use your own car on duty, fuel expenses will be covered 50p per mile
Job Start Date: June
Pay: £15,450 Gross per annum/ £18ph
