An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an experienced Maintenance Team Coordinator to join a well-established and respected team responsible for the care and ongoing enhancement of a prestigious private estate in Egham, Surrey. This pivotal role will lead the estate’s caretaking and maintenance operations, ensuring that all infrastructure, buildings, and essential estate services are managed and maintained to the highest standards.This is a hands-on leadership position suited to a proactive and organised individual who thrives in a high-end, detail-oriented environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in both strategic planning and day-to-day delivery of estate maintenance, leading a small on-site caretaking team and working closely with other department leaders.Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the ongoing maintenance of estate buildings, driveways, fencing, gates, lighting, irrigation systems, and utilities.
  • Carry out regular inspections and condition reports, identifying issues and implementing timely and effective solutions.
  • Manage the small caretaking team and coordinate with external contractors when required.
  • Maintain accurate records of works carried out, schedules, and safety checks.
Quality & Standards:
  • Maintain the highest presentation standards across all newly developed and existing hard landscape features, including paths, patios, walls, structures, and irrigation systems.
  • Conduct regular quality inspections and proactively identify areas requiring improvement or repair.
Key SkillsCandidates must have proven experience within high-end or formal settings, along with strong leadership and people management abilities. Proficiency with landscaping tools and machinery is essential, as is being highly organised, solution-focused, and confident in client-facing situations. A full UK driving licence is required, along with a willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check and sign a confidentiality agreement.Desirable:
  • Horticultural or landscaping qualifications
  • PA1/PA6 spraying certificates
  • Experience with irrigation systems
