The one who makes school feel safe and sound.We’re looking for good-hearted Behaviour & Inclusion Support folk to join a smashing team in and about Wakey. This ain’t your bog-standard school—it's for young’uns who can’t do mainstream just now. Maybe they’ve been excluded, maybe they’re not well, maybe life’s thrown ‘em a curveball. But here, they get a fair go, proper care, and a fresh start.What you’ll be doing:
- Helping KS3 and KS4 lads and lasses settle in when school’s feeling a bit different to what they’re used to.
- Giving one-to-one help or small group support—whatever’s needed to get ‘em feeling comfy and cracking on.
- Handling things like autism, communication quirks, and learning challenges with steady patience and no faff.
- Keeping things calm when behaviour flares up—showing ‘em someone’s got their back.
- You don’t flap when things get a bit hairy.
- You know every bit of behaviour tells a story.
- You want to make a proper difference to kids who’ve had it rough.
- DBS on update service (or we’ll help you sort one)
- Two recent references
- Big heart, firm boundaries, and a head screwed on when it comes to safeguarding
- Proper weekly PAYE pay—no messing, no umbrella company faff - no cheeky deductions like those anoying cash points who charge you £2 to get a tenner out
