- Manage and maintain the credit control process to ensure timely payments from clients.
- Monitor outstanding accounts and proactively follow up on overdue invoices.
- Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
- Communicate with clients regarding payment terms and queries.
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless financial operations.
- Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts receivable.
- Support ad-hoc tasks as required within the accounting and finance department.
- Proven experience in credit control or a similar role within accounting and finance.
- A strong understanding of financial processes and account reconciliation.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
