Early Years Teaching Assistant – Thanet – September 2025 StartAre you passionate about supporting young children in their early stages of learning and development? We are currently seeking a dedicated and nurturing Early Years Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Thanet from September 2025.About the Role: As an Early Years Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the class teacher and helping children aged 3–5 years flourish in a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment. This is a full-time position, ideal for someone who is enthusiastic, patient, and committed to making a positive impact in early education.Key Responsibilities:
  • Supporting children’s learning through play and structured activities
  • Assisting with phonics, early numeracy, and social development
  • Helping to create a warm and engaging classroom environment
  • Providing one-to-one and small group support
  • Supporting children with additional needs where required
  • Collaborating with teachers and other staff to ensure the best outcomes for pupils
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working with children in an Early Years setting (school or nursery)
  • A relevant childcare or teaching assistant qualification (e.g. CACHE Level 2/3, NVQ, or equivalent)
  • A genuine passion for early childhood education
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
