- Define and implement the strategic direction for the advertising services, including the overall goals and strategic initiatives for the department.
- Serve as the strategic lead on high-value client accounts, ensuring top-tier account management and client satisfaction.
- Lead and mentor a team of Senior Account Managers and Associate Directors, ensuring they are trained on the latest advertising trends and techniques.
- Collaborate with the Senior Leadership Team on new business opportunities and strategies to drive growth within existing client relationships.
- Provide strategic guidance on key client accounts and support the team in developing their advertising strategies.
- Manage relationships with third-party advertising providers and technology partners to ensure we are maximising the efficiency and impact of our campaigns.
- Maintain high levels of client and employee satisfaction through regular surveys and feedback loops.
- Work alongside the Amazon Advertising team to ensure we have the support needed to enhance and develop our advertising product offerings.
- Contribute to the company's technology roadmap to ensure the team has the insights and tools required to make informed, strategic decisions.
- Represent the company at industry events, positioning yourself and the business as thought leaders in the field of retail media and advertising.
- Proven experience managing a team of 5 or more advertising professionals, with responsibility for budgets of £7m+ across multiple regions.
- Experience working in multi-brand and multi-market environments, with an in-depth understanding of the challenges that arise when managing cross-border advertising campaigns.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience in Amazon advertising, along with a background of 7+ years in programmatic or biddable media.
- Demonstrable leadership skills with experience in building, mentoring, and motivating a team in a fast-paced advertising environment.
- Strong knowledge of ad tech platforms, such as Skai, Perpetua, or Pacvue, to streamline processes without compromising campaign performance.
- Experience in building relationships with third-party ad providers and technology partners to enhance ad delivery.
- Solid experience in managing a division's P&L and making data-driven decisions to optimise campaign performance.
