
Urological Surgeon with an Interest in Andrology & Penile Cancer

- Entry on the GMC specialist registrar for urology or elegible for inclusion on the specialist registrar within 6 months of the interview date
- An appropriate higher Urological surgical qualification (eg FRCS urol)
- Published research papers/presentations
- completion of relevant management course / programme
- MD or PhD
- Experience in relevant urological surgery
- Comprehensive training on a recognized SpR programme or equivalent
- Demonstrable experience in all aspects of Clinical Governance.
- Ability to take full and independent responsibility for the clinical care of patients
- Experience of leading clinical audits, implementing change, and monitoring compliance
- A track record in teaching medical and other clinical staff and students
- Of giving clinical presentations
- Attending management course
- Management experience
- Fellowship focused on andrology and penile cancer
- Ability to organise, prioritise, delegate, and manage
- Ability to work productively in multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to develop rapport with and discuss treatment options with patients in a way they can understand
